My work moves between graphic design, environmental and spatial applications, digital media, and physical production. I’m particularly interested in how visual communication can develop across formats—from an image or information system to something that occupies physical space.

I’m most engaged by the process of developing an idea and figuring out what it needs to become real. That may mean researching a site, reconstructing artwork, developing a visual system, building a 3D environment, or working through the materials and production requirements of a physical piece. I’m interested in the moment when an idea becomes something tangible—and in solving the problems that get it there.

Much of my professional experience has been grounded in environmental graphics, signage, and fabrication, where visual design has to work within the realities of materials, scale, production, and installation. That experience has shaped the way I approach design: I think about where something will exist, how it will be used, what it will be made from, and what needs to happen for an idea to become a finished result.

My work continues to expand across spatial design, information design, 3D visualization, filmmaking, writing, and visual storytelling. Projects may begin with a design problem, an image, a place, or a story, then draw on different disciplines as they develop. I’m interested in what happens when skills and ideas from one medium inform another—and how each new problem can extend what I’m able to make.

I enjoy working with people who bring curiosity, care, and different perspectives to the problem at hand. I value collaboration that makes the work better, leaves room for exploration, and occasionally begins with a very useful question: “What if?”
